Suparna currently works at DS as a Research Associate. Her work involves her undertaking project coordination and mixed-methods research and analysis. Her professional journey encompasses a diverse range of fields, from education to governance, spanning a cumulative period of four years.

She is equipped with a Master’s degree in Public Policy from O.P. Jindal Global University. Prior to joining DS, she worked with Aga Khan Rural Support Programme – India, in two capacities – as a Capstone Fellow followed by Research and Documentation Officer. Her work entailed understanding budgetary allocation towards drinking water and irrigation under the Tribal Development Department in Gujarat. She also worked on streamlining donor reporting across project locations, used qualitative methods to collect data, document project deliverables, and create communication materials.

Suparna is passionate about watching anime. In her free time, she likes to battle Hollows and have engaging conversations about postmodern feminism with her apple-loving shinigami.
